I was born and raised in Hawley, MN, a sort of stop to the lakes, a miss it if you blink, kind of town. At the age of about 14 I started getting into piercing, slowly seeing more and more people with their tongues, nostrils and navels. It began to intigue me more as I researched the different possibilities.

The day I turned 18 I got my first professional piercing at Addictions, it was wonderful. From then on I was in there about once a week getting something done and trying to get my foot in the door. Finally in 2002 I got a job as the counter girl with the hopes of getting an apprenticeship. Then in Sept. 2002 they gave me one. I apprenticed under Chad, the former piercer there and Jeff from Mile Hi Tattoo in Denver, CO. They taught me most of what I know and some of it is self taught through experience and research of the human body.

After 7 years of piercing I hit a burn-out stage where I needed to take a break. Deciding it is what I really want to do with my life I talked to Chuck and got the job here at Dead Rockstar.
